For Mercy Housing (www.mercyhousing.org) the nation’s largest affordable housing non-profit, T Squared partnered with the leadership team to place the National Director of Marketing & Communications in 2014.  In turn, the Marketing Director created Mercy Housing’s marketing strategy and built a team, which focused on marketing communications, brand, social, content and PR.  Of note, the website was redesigned, an email marketing program was introduced and social media followers increased 29% in the first year.

In order to support strategies that targeted new donor populations, the identification of a marketing leader who resonated with the mission was key. Michele Stowe, Chief Administration Officer noted:

RAFT provides Colorado Educators and students with attribution-rich materials, student centered content and immersive learning experiences for K-5 classrooms. Raft partners with Colorado companies to “upcycle” their unused materials, provides professional education opportunities for teachers, and brings their STEM-focused materials to classrooms through Raft-On-Wheels and pre-assembled classroom kits. T Squared partnered closely with the search committee to ensure the right leadership qualities and business savvy were identified and assessed. It was crucial to find a passionate leader with relevant experience serving educators as well as a Social Enterprise playbook to pull from which will help the organization pivot, diversifying its revenue streams to be a balanced earned and raised income model. Lisa Donovan, who serves on the board for RAFT, notes:

Professional Case Management (www.procasemanagement.com) hired T Squared to help them meet a unique challenge in their in-home healthcare model, which serves uranium & nuclear weapons workers. As they needed to continue to provide in-home health care with compassion, quality and the highest of ethics, they also had an opportunity to introduce efficiencies that better helped meet the patient demand. Ensuring the highest delivery of patient care in the most efficient way resulted in recruiting for their first COO. Leadership and a Mission-Driven leader were equally important to ensure a long lasting fit as was someone who brought strategy and operational excellence to PCM.
