ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the CEO of North America, the Director of Marketing will be the fourth hire in North America and a key member of the leadership team tasked with running the entire marketing division; eventually hiring and leading a team as we expand and grow.  The Director of Marketing will be an energetic and engaging leader who brings a sense of entrepreneurialism.  They should be able to work well and collaborate with the executive team.  They need to have a clear understanding of digital, traditional, and omnichannel marketing.  They will need to raise brand awareness of Kaadas products across our total sales and distribution footprint, including online.  The Director of Marketing will be a strategic thinker who executes a results-driven approach and can thrive in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment.

The marketing leader will need to be able to clearly articulate their goals and objectives. They will create, execute, and present marketing and communications plans that identify opportunities to elevate our brand that will shape and influence a consistent story to our clients, partners, and the consumer. Additionally, they will develop and drive our digital and social media strategies, building brand awareness and profiling news and insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Go To Market

  • Research new marketing opportunities
  • Analyze and evaluate industry and market trends to help inform and grow the business
  • Identify and drive opportunities for future company growth, improvement, and profit.

Trade Shows

  • Create and organize Kaadas North America’s trade shows, booth and display setup, events, and conference presence to increase overall brand awareness

Digital/Social

  • Create and execute a compelling digital and social media strategy with content that leverages industry best practices and profiles the company ethos
  • Maintain Websites
  • Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok & YouTube Ads – create, run, and analyze

Brand, Communication & Content

  • Champion Kaadas North America’s products and brands ensuring a consistent approach throughout all marketing vehicles
  • Develop and lead commercially aligned marketing and communication strategies and plans via an integrated multi-channel approach
  • Design marketing materials
  • Write and develop product-related messaging and materials to reinforce Kaadas North America’s value proposition

Marketing Operations:

  • Create and maintain a marketing calendar
  • Develop a deep understanding of Kaadas North America’s products and client workflows to foster a collaborative partnership with Product Development and Sales teams
  • Foster a culture of metrics driven marketing; measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Ensure key metrics are established, monitored, and reviewed regularly to determine return on investments selected, making the appropriate adjustments when necessary
  • Develop agency and external vendor relationships in support of business goals

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, MBA or Advanced Degree in other business or communication discipline strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience preferably with a national consumer brand-driven products company, with multiple brand approach
  • Expertise in content, digital, and social media marketing
  • Highly strategic and can think ahead to what platforms the brands need to be on
  • Expert storyteller: can navigate complex products to frame and articulate a message
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with an ability to write copy, media releases and present solutions.
  • Track record of success in leading strategic and tactical marketing campaigns, domestically and internationally
  • Deep analytical skills: metrics and data driven with experience in marketing technology tools
  • Expert project manager: can define, prioritize, and lead end to end initiatives on time and in budget
  • Creative entrepreneurial self-starter with an ability to work autonomously
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Media buying experience via television, OTT, and digital within the last 5 years
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships
  • Experience with and solid understanding of media buying
  • Strong capabilities with branding and identity creation and management
  • Strong knowledge of the digital media space and website management
  • Expert knowledge of customer experience strategy and management
